Easter celebrations after my sacrifice for Lent!

After long discussions and consideration of things in life I love and would prove a sacrifice to give up, the guys in the office came to the conclusion that I should forgo shopping, chocolate & alcohol for the duration of Lent – which now seems like a very long 40 days and 40 nights!

I am determined to stick to my challenge and forfeit some of my favourite things, however this is proving harder than I imagined already, and it has only been 8 days and counting! So, sitting at my desk I decided I needed some inspiration and an incentive to keep me going. But what could satisfy all my needs of Shopping, Chocolate and alcohol?

Browsing through the hotelshop UK website, I found myself looking at the selection of short breaks available and the concept of a weekend away with my favourite girlfriend, indulging in some retail therapy and a tipple or two over a delicious dinner and good old gossip seemed like the perfect idea!

So, an email to my friend and a few clicks on the hotelshop UK website later...a weekend away was booked for just £23.50 each.

So, whatever your reason for wanting to pack your bags and enjoy a short break away... hotelshop UK has some really great value deals waiting to be snatched up! Like me – you are bound to find something you fancy!

Plus, with Spring fast approaching and Bank Holiday, Mother’s Day, Easter and Whitsun Bank Holiday all coming up, there are loads of reasons/excuses to book a short break. Maybe treat your loved one to the perfect present or escape everyday life yourself for a few days and make the most of the extra days off work this Bank Holiday - I know I will be!
